Position: System Support Specialist (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Hours: 40 /week MON-FRI 08:30-17:00

Williams Trade Supplies Ltd, ranked among the ‘Top 100 Best Companies to Work For’ for five years running, is looking for a System Support Specialist to join our Systems Support Team on a maternity cover basis. This role provides first-line support for our K8 ERP system and website application, ensuring smooth system operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for the K8 ERP system and website.
• Assist users with commercial processes (Product Management, Buying Terms, SPAs).
• Collaborate across departments to improve system usage and resolve issues.
• Conduct system testing after upgrades, enhancements, or bug fixes.
• Diagnose system errors, offer solutions, and provide user training.
• Develop and maintain user guides and documentation.
• Support and manage our customer-facing website.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with K8 ERP systems and commercial processes. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. 
• Excellent communication skills (phone, email, help desk). 
• Ability to create clear documentation and user guides. 
• Highly organised, analytical, and detail oriented. 
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. 
• Skilled in troubleshooting, user training, and system testing.
